Introduction

US Compliance Agent LLC ("Company," "we," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data. By using our services, you agree to this Policy.

We are not a government agency and not affiliated with the U.S. Government, FCC, FDA, Amazon, or any regulatory authority.

1. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email, phone number.

  • Business information (Amazon seller info, FCC Grantee ID, FDA Facility details, MoCRA Facility ID, etc.).

  • Documents you upload.

  • Payment information (processed securely by Stripe).

  • IP address, browser type, usage analytics.

2. Purpose of Data Use

We use your data only to:

  • act as your designated U.S. Agent,

  • receive and forward regulatory notices,

  • maintain your account,

  • send service-related communications.

We do not use data for marketing.
We do not sell or share data with third parties except as described.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For EU/EEA customers, data is processed under:

  • Contract necessity,

  • Legitimate interest,

  • Legal obligation,

  • Consent (where applicable).

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

  • Stripe (payment processor),

  • IT/service providers strictly for operational purposes,

  • Government agencies only when forwarding notices addressed to you,

  • Legal authorities if required by law.

We do not share your data with Amazon, FCC, FDA, or any regulatory agency unless forwarding notices explicitly addressed to you.

5. Sub-processors

We may use third-party service providers (email, hosting, scanning). All operate under confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Security

We use encryption, secure transmission, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, and we provide no guarantees of absolute security.

7. Data Breach Notification

If a data breach occurs, we will notify affected users within legally required timelines.

8. Your Rights (GDPR)

You may request:

  • access to your data,

  • correction,

  • deletion (where possible),

  • restriction of processing,

  • data portability.

Requests may be denied if required for regulatory, security, or legal purposes.

9. Data Retention

We retain data:

  • for the duration of your subscription,

  • for 1 year after service termination,

  • or longer if legally required.

Mail scans or regulatory notices may be retained for compliance recordkeeping.

10. International Data Transfers

Your personal data is transferred to and processed in the United States. For customers located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal mechanisms to ensure your data is adequately protected during transfer:

Contract Performance. Where the transfer of your data is necessary for the performance of our contract with you — specifically, to act as your designated U.S. Agent and to receive and forward regulatory correspondence on your behalf — we rely on GDPR Article 49(1)(b) as the legal basis for the transfer. The core service you have engaged us to provide requires that your data be processed in the United States, as our role as U.S. Agent is inherently U.S.-based.

Standard Contractual Clauses. Where transfers are not covered by contract performance, we use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as adopted under Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914, as applicable, to provide appropriate safeguards for the transfer of personal data to the United States. Copies of the relevant SCCs are available upon request.

Supplementary Measures. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to supplement the above transfer mechanisms, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, access controls, and contractual confidentiality obligations with all sub-processors.

By using our services, you acknowledge that the processing of your data in the United States is necessary for us to fulfill our contractual obligations to you.

11. Cookies

We use cookies for site functionality, analytics, and security. See our Cookie Policy for details.

12. No Liability for User Misconduct

We are not responsible for:

  • incorrect data you provide,

  • fraudulent filings submitted by you,

  • compliance failures,

  • consequences of inaccurate or incomplete filings.

13. Policy Modifications

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
